Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of UNDP organizes Export Caravan 2021 for local entrepreneurs in the regions of the country

During the period from December 5 to 17 this year, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the UNDP project "Aid for Trade in Central Asia" will hold an information campaign "Export Caravan 2021" in all regions of the Kyrgyz Republic. The aim of the initiative is to inform the business community in the regions of the country about innovations and trends related to production and export issues.

This year, the main topic of the Export Caravan will be e-commerce. In addition, Kyrgyz entrepreneurs will learn about various online export tools, how to draw up business plans, where products can be supplied on preferential terms and much more. The target audience is producers and exporters of fruits and vegetables, meat, dairy and garment products, as well as representatives of other economic sectors.

The expert team of the Export Caravan 2021 included representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, Guarantee Fund OJSC and experts in the field of e-commerce and business planning. The "Export Caravan" is an event dedicated to the promotion, development of exports as well as trade information. The main purpose of the event is to inform domestic producers and exporters about the benefits, procedures/conditions of exporting to foreign markets, as well as to identify current and relevant business needs and requirements in order to improve services to support domestic exporters.

This is the sixth Export Caravan, which will be in all regions of the country and provide entrepreneurs with the essential skills needed to develop business in Kyrgyzstan and export domestic products. In total, more than a thousand businessmen have received valuable knowledge through which they have not only developed their enterprises but have also contributed to the country's economy.

The event was organised in the framework of the UNDP project "Aid For Trade in Central Asia", implemented by the United Nations Development Programme with financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland.
