The UN Development Program in the Kyrgyz Republic donated technical equipment to the Center for Professional Training of prosecutors and investigators of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The equipment is intended for distance learning of prosecution authorities’ staff. Owing to this support, distance learning will make it possible not only to transmit information via video communication, but also accompany information visually with presentations and educational and practical video classes. It is noted that in the current circumstances, it is quite relevant to use work-based remote training for employees of the prosecutor's office via video conferencing.

By using videoconferencing in the work, a significant reduction in the time and economic costs for conducting training activities, conferences, round tables and various discussions of the prosecutor's office employees of the Kyrgyz Republic is expected.

The equipment has been provided under the UNDP projects “Support to criminal justice sector reform in Kyrgyzstan in accordance with the Rule of Law and International Standards”, funded by the Government of the United States of America and “Promoting Kyrgyzstan’s Youth Cohesion and Interaction towards Uzbekistan”, funded by the Peacebuilding Fund.

Additionally, with the support of UNDP online trainings were conducted for employees of regional prosecutor's offices, during which the participants had the opportunity to discuss important problems of prosecutorial supervision and successfully passed remote testing.
