Trainers of the course for schoolgirls

On October 11, International Girls' Day is celebrated around the world to attract attention to the social problems, inequalities and specific threats that girls around the world face.

This day the Bishkek Femististic Initiative with support of the UNDP in the Kyrgyz Republic has launched a project aimed to strengthen the potential of schoolgirls and their social role by teaching them photo and video blogging skills. This course will enable schoolgirls to talk about their needs, the challenges they face every day, their lives and their dreams. We believe that every opinion matters, and in the age of innovation and information technology, every girl can express herself to the whole world.

The project will contribute to the increase of the representation, consideration, and celebration of women in the field of photography and video because over time, these items can be linked to a shift in perception, which can lead to generally increased equality and more specifically increased equality in remuneration.

The trainers are practicing bloggers who write, take photos and videos, and promote their accounts on various social networks. A team will walk their path together with the participants and try new and effective methods to express themselves, tell about their communities and the issues that concern them.
