Good governance: stories of change from villages of Kyrgyzstan (RUS)

Published on 26 Jan 2015

Do want to know how a distant mountainous  village got a phone connection for the first time in history? Or read a story of 25 year old Atabek who is leading his community and helping to develop his village? Or get acquainted with Adina who is part of the initiative to fight early marriages through education?

All of these stories are here in this small book published  as a result of UN’s big project on promoting social justice for good governance. The project was funded by EU and helped to build capacity of local self-government bodies, provide access to faster processing documents in villages via community service centers, renovate medical units, establish community radio centers and many more.

Download the publication in order to witness the changes.
